173rd Fighter Wing Conducts Veterans' Day Flyovers

Honoring Our Nation's Heroes

On Friday, the 173rd Fighter Wing, based in Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon, conducted flyovers across the state to honor veterans on Veterans' Day.

Flyover Locations

The flyovers took place in the following locations:

• Portland
• Salem
• Eugene
• Medford
• Klamath Falls

Aircraft and Pilots

The flyovers were conducted by four F-15 Eagles, piloted by members of the 173rd Fighter Wing.

Purpose of the Flyovers

The purpose of the flyovers was to honor and thank veterans for their service and sacrifice to our nation.

Response from the Community

The flyovers were met with great enthusiasm and appreciation from the community. Many people gathered in parks, along sidewalks, and on rooftops to watch the flyovers and pay their respects to veterans.
