2024 Salute to Veterans
A Patriotic Display of Appreciation
The 2024 Salute to Veterans is a highly anticipated event that will take place on November 11th, 2024. This special day is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. The event will feature a variety of activities and attractions, including a parade, a ceremony, and a concert. All are welcome to attend and show their support for our veterans.
Parade
The parade will begin at 10:00 AM on November 11th. It will feature a variety of floats, marching bands, and military units. The parade will travel down Main Street and end at the town square.
Ceremony
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM on November 11th. It will feature speeches from local dignitaries and veterans. The ceremony will also include a wreath-laying ceremony and a moment of silence.
Concert
The concert will begin at 1:00 PM on November 11th. It will feature a variety of patriotic music. The concert will be held at the town square.
Other Activities
In addition to the parade, ceremony, and concert, there will also be a variety of other activities at the 2024 Salute to Veterans. These activities will include:
- A food court with a variety of food and drinks
- A kids zone with games and activities for children
- A veterans resource fair with information on benefits and services for veterans
Volunteers Needed
The 2024 Salute to Veterans is a volunteer-run event. We are looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including:
- Setting up and breaking down the event
- Directing traffic and parking
- Working at the food court and kids zone
- Providing information to veterans and their families
