According to police, Oaklynn was playing outside when a man approached her and offered her a ride. The girl's mother witnessed the incident and attempted to intervene, but the man sped away with Oaklynn in his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, with a thin build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The vehicle involved in the abduction is a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry. It has a license plate that begins with the letters "OHC."
