Arvin hosts Hometown Heroes Night and inaugural Veterans Day Parade

The City of Arvin is proud to announce the first annual Hometown Heroes Night and Veterans Day Parade. This free event will honor all veterans and active-duty military members, and their families. The event will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM PST at the Arvin Sports Complex, 200 Park Avenue, Arvin, CA 93203.
The Hometown Heroes Night will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including live music, food vendors, a beer garden, and a kids' zone. There will also be a special ceremony to honor veterans and active-duty military members. The Veterans Day Parade will begin at 6:00 PM and will feature floats, marching bands, and veterans' organizations.
The City of Arvin is grateful for the service and sacrifice of our veterans and active-duty military members. We hope you will join us for this special event to honor their service.
Event Schedule
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Food vendors and beer garden open
- 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Veterans Day Parade
- 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Live music and ceremony to honor veterans and active-duty military members
