Broken Arrow students celebrate veterans
Broken Arrow Public Schools students show their appreciation for local veterans.
Students from Broken Arrow Public Schools celebrated veterans during their annual Veterans Day program.
The program was held at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center on November 11, 2023, and featured performances by the Broken Arrow High School choir, band, and orchestra. Students also read essays and poems honoring veterans.
The event was attended by over 2,000 people, including veterans, students, parents, and community members.
Broken Arrow Public Schools has a long tradition of honoring veterans. The district has been recognized by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs for its support of veterans and their families.
The annual Veterans Day program is just one way that Broken Arrow Public Schools shows its appreciation for veterans.
