Caldwell County Public Schools to Honor Veterans on Monday

Caldwell County Public Schools will honor veterans on Monday, November 11, with a variety of events and activities.

The day will begin with a breakfast for veterans at the Caldwell County High School cafeteria from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Following breakfast, there will be a Veterans Day program in the high school auditorium from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The program will feature guest speakers, musical performances, and a presentation of the colors by the Caldwell County High School JROTC.

In addition to the breakfast and program, Caldwell County Public Schools will also be hosting a number of other events and activities to honor veterans throughout the day.

These events include:

• A visit to the Caldwell County Veterans Memorial at 10:30 a.m.
• A luncheon for veterans at the Caldwell County Extension Office from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• A screening of the film "The Thin Red Line" at the Caldwell County Public Library from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
