Honoring veterans all week on campus

Events throughout the week recognize sacrifices of veterans

Veterans Day is a time to honor the men and women who have served our country in the military. At [Campus Name], we are celebrating Veterans Day all week with a variety of events and activities.

On Monday, November 7, we will host a flag-raising ceremony at the flagpole in front of the Student Union. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 am and will be followed by a reception in the Student Union Ballroom.

On Tuesday, November 8, we will host a Veterans Day luncheon in the Student Union Ballroom. The luncheon will begin at 12:00 pm and will feature a keynote speaker from the local Veterans Affairs office.

On Wednesday, November 9, we will host a screening of the documentary "The War" in the Student Union Theater. The screening will begin at 7:00 pm and will be followed by a discussion with a local veteran.

On Thursday, November 10, we will host a Veterans Day parade. The parade will begin at 10:00 am and will feature local veterans, ROTC units, and community groups.

On Friday, November 11, we will host a Veterans Day ceremony at the Veterans Memorial on campus. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 am and will feature a keynote speaker from the local American Legion post.
