Jordan Whittington back in full practice Thursday
Texas Longhorns football wide receiver Jordan Whittington back in practice this week.
Texas football wide receiver Jordan Whittington was back in full practice on Thursday after being out with an ankle injury.
Whittington, a senior, had been out since the Longhorns' season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 3. He had been limited in practice last week but was able to participate in full on Thursday.
Whittington is expected to play in Texas' game against Alabama on Saturday. He is one of the Longhorns' top receivers, and his return will be a boost to the offense.
Whittington had 21 catches for 265 yards and three touchdowns last season. He is expected to be a key part of the Longhorns' passing game this season.
Texas is 2-0 this season after wins over Louisiana-Monroe and UTSA. The Longhorns will face their toughest test of the season on Saturday when they travel to Tuscaloosa to take on the No. 1 Crimson Tide.
