Murrells Inlet Veterans Day Observance to Feature Patriotic Ceremony, Community Supper

Event to Honor Local Veterans, Foster Community Spirit

Murrells Inlet, SC - The Murrells Inlet community will gather on Friday, November 11th, to commemorate Veterans Day with a special observance and community supper. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Murrells Inlet Veterans Memorial Park from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

A Day to Honor and Remember

The Veterans Day observance will begin with a patriotic ceremony at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, and remarks from local dignitaries and veterans. A special tribute will be paid to the fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Following the ceremony, a community supper will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The supper will feature a variety of traditional American dishes, including barbecue, fried chicken, and baked beans. All proceeds from the supper will benefit the Murrells Inlet Veterans Memorial.
