Empire 8 Conference Announces Football Postseason Participants
The Empire 8 Conference has announced the participants in the 2022 Football Championship. The top four teams in the conference standings have earned a berth in the tournament, which will begin with two semifinal games on Saturday, November 12.
Semifinal Matchups
The top-seeded team in the conference, SUNY Brockport, will host fourth-seeded Utica College in one semifinal game. In the other semifinal, second-seeded Nazareth College will host third-seeded SUNY Geneseo.
The winners of the two semifinal games will advance to the Empire 8 Championship Game, which will be held on Saturday, November 19, at the site of the highest-seeded team.
