No. 24 Men’s Basketball Hosts St. Peter’s Monday Night
Peacocks Visit as Scarlet Knights Look to Clinch Top-4 Finish

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (February 27, 2023) – Fresh off its road win at No. 14 Indiana, the No. 24 Rutgers men’s basketball team returns home to host St. Peter’s on Monday, February 27 at the RAC. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
The Scarlet Knights (18-10, 11-7) clinched a top-five finish in the Big Ten on Thursday with their 74-72 win in Bloomington. With two regular season games remaining, RU is one game ahead of Michigan and two games ahead of Wisconsin for fourth place in the conference standings.
St. Peter’s (11-17, 7-9) has won two straight games heading into Monday’s matchup, including a 76-68 victory over Quinnipiac on Saturday. The Peacocks are tied for sixth place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings.
Rutgers is 2-0 all-time against St. Peter’s, with both meetings coming at the RAC. The Scarlet Knights won the first matchup in 1983, 76-64, and the second in 2017, 89-69.
