Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa Veterans Day Parades: Start Times Announced

The cities of Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa have announced the start times for their annual Veterans Day parades, which will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2023.
The Phoenix Veterans Day Parade will begin at 11:00 AM and will travel along Central Avenue from Montebello Avenue to 7th Street.
The Tempe Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will travel along Mill Avenue from Rural Road to 5th Street.
The Mesa Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will travel along Main Street from Country Club Drive to MacDonald Drive.
All three parades are free to attend and will feature a variety of floats, marching bands, and veterans' groups.
Veterans Day is a federal holiday that honors all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday was originally known as Armistice Day and was first celebrated in 1919 to mark the end of World War I.
In 1954, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day to honor all veterans, regardless of when they served.
