Spokane Veterans Day Events and Resources
Honoring Our Local Heroes
Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11th, is a day to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. In Spokane, there are several events and resources available to celebrate and support our veterans.
Events
- Spokane Veterans Day Parade: The parade will take place downtown on November 11th at 11:00 AM. The parade route begins at the corner of Spokane Falls Boulevard and Division Street and ends at Riverfront Park.
- Veterans Day Ceremony at Spokane Memorial Gardens: A ceremony will be held at Spokane Memorial Gardens on November 11th at 1:00 PM. The ceremony will include a wreath-laying, speeches, and a performance by the Spokane Veterans Band.
- Veterans Day Open House at the Spokane County Veterans Memorial Museum: The museum will be open to the public for free on November 11th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The museum features exhibits on the history of veterans in Spokane County.

- Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW): The VFW is a nonprofit organization that provides support and services to veterans. The VFW has a post in Spokane located at 212 W. Riverside Avenue, Spokane, WA 99201.
