Veterans Day 2023: Chick-fil-A to Offer Free Meals to Veterans and Active Military

In recognition of Veterans Day, Chick-fil-A will be offering free meals to veterans and active-duty military members on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

This annual tradition is a way for Chick-fil-A to express gratitude to those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military.

Details of the Offer

To receive a free meal, veterans and active military members must present a valid military ID or proof of service at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.

The free meal includes a choice of a Chick-fil-A sandwich, 8-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets, or a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It also includes a side item, a drink, and a dessert.

The offer is valid for dine-in, drive-thru, or carry-out orders.

A Longstanding Tradition

Chick-fil-A has been offering free meals to veterans and active military members on Veterans Day since 2009.

In 2022, Chick-fil-A gave away more than 7 million free meals to veterans and active-duty military members.

Other Ways to Honor Veterans

In addition to offering free meals, Chick-fil-A is also encouraging customers to show their support for veterans in other ways.

Customers can donate to the Chick-fil-A Foundation's Veterans Employment Initiative, which helps veterans transition into civilian careers.

Customers can also purchase a Chick-fil-A military tumbler, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Veterans Employment Initiative.
