Veterans Day Ceremony Set for Monday
Commemoration to Honor Local Veterans
Event to Feature Keynote Speaker, Patriotic Music
The community will gather on Monday to honor local veterans at the annual Veterans Day ceremony. The event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The keynote speaker will be retired Army Colonel John Smith. Smith served in the military for over 20 years, including two tours of duty in Iraq. He will share his experiences and insights on the importance of Veterans Day.
The ceremony will also feature patriotic music performed by the local high school band. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony and a moment of silence to honor fallen veterans.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony to show their support for veterans. The event is free and open to all ages.
