Veterans Day events in southeast Minnesota and north Iowa

Rochester

* **Rochester Veterans Day Parade:** The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds and proceed north on South Broadway before turning east on First Street and ending at Soldiers Field Park. * **Veterans Day Ceremony:** The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Soldiers Field Park. The guest speaker will be retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tony Lopez. * **Veterans Day Open House:** The Rochester VA Health Care System will hold an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the VA Medical Center, 2121 S.E. Fourth St. The open house will include tours of the facility, information on VA benefits and services, and a chance to meet with VA staff.

North Iowa

* **Mason City Veterans Day Parade:** The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the intersection of State Street and North Federal Avenue and proceed north on Federal Avenue to Willow Creek Golf Course. * **Mason City Veterans Day Ceremony:** The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Willow Creek Golf Course. The guest speaker will be retired U.S. Air Force Col. Dave Lillard. * **Clear Lake Veterans Day Ceremony:** The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Clear Lake Veterans Memorial. The guest speaker will be retired U.S. Army Sgt.
