Veterans Day Parade to Honor Local Heroes in Erie County
Event to Showcase Gratitude and Support for Veterans
Erie County will host its annual Veterans Day parade on Friday, November 11, 2023, to honor and celebrate local veterans. The parade will begin at 11:00 AM at the Erie VA Medical Center and proceed down 8th Street to State Street.
Parade Route and Highlights
The parade route will run along 8th Street from the Erie VA Medical Center to State Street. Spectators are encouraged to line the streets and show their support for veterans. The parade will feature a variety of participants, including:

The Veterans Day parade is an opportunity for the Erie community to come together and honor the service and sacrifice of veterans. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that there are over 19,000 veterans living in Erie County. These veterans have served their country both at home and abroad, and the parade is a way to show them our gratitude and support.
