William Smith College fell to Vassar College 1-0 in the Liberty League Women's Soccer Championship game on Sunday, November 6. The Herons finished the season with a record of 13-6-2, while Vassar improved to 16-2-1.

The game was scoreless for the first 80 minutes. Vassar finally broke through in the 81st minute when senior forward Emma Hermann scored her 10th goal of the season. The Herons had a chance to tie the game in the final minutes, but senior forward Maddie Mills' shot went just wide of the net.
