Hawaii Drops Exhibition To Life Pacific 78-64
Rainbow Warriors Lose 1st Exhibition Game
MANOA, Hawaii— The University of Hawaii men's basketball team lost to Life Pacific University in an exhibition basketball game Tuesday night at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
Close At Half
Hawaii trailed by just six points at the break, 34-28, but was outscored by Life Pacific 44-36 in the second half.
Leaders
Junior forward Kamaka Hepa led the way for the Rainbow Warriors with 16 points and eight rebounds. Senior guard Noel Coleman added 15 points, and Junior guard Justin Webster chipped in with 12 points.
Opposing Team Leaders
For Life Pacific, sophomore guard Gabe Nakafuala led the way with 22 points, while senior forward Josh Martin added 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Stat Comparison
Hawaii shot 38.2% from the field, while Life Pacific shot 44.3%.
The Rainbow Warriors were outrebounded by Life Pacific 42-38.
Life Pacific had 18 turnovers, while Hawaii had 12.
