Top 3 November Highlights: Veteran's Day, Christmas Tree Tour, Aquarium Lantern Fest

Veteran's Day

This year’s Veteran’s Day activities are planned to honor all military branches and feature key speakers, live music, and more. The event will be held at the Freedom Square Monument on November 11th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be food vendors and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. All are welcome to attend and show their support for our veterans.

Annual Christmas Tree Tour

The annual Christmas Tree Tour will feature dozens of decorated Christmas trees at the Central Library’s Grand Reading Room. The event will take place from November 25th through December 23rd. The trees will be decorated by local businesses, organizations, and families. Visitors can vote for their favorite tree and enjoy live music and holiday treats. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of the Library.

Aquarium Lantern Festival

The Aquarium Lantern Festival will feature over 500 illuminated lanterns on display throughout the aquarium. The event will take place from November 22nd through January 8th. Visitors can explore the aquarium at night and see the lanterns up close. There will also be live music and food vendors. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
