Veterans Day 2023: A Time to Reflect and Honor

Utah Celebrates Veterans Day with a Special Event in Salt Lake City

This Veterans Day, Utah will commemorate the service and sacrifice of its veterans with a special event in Salt Lake City. The event will be held at the Utah State Capitol on Friday, November 11, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The event will feature:

• A keynote speech by a distinguished veteran
• A performance by the Utah Symphony
• A wreath-laying ceremony at the Utah Veterans Memorial
• A display of military vehicles and equipment
• Activities for children and families

The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to come and show their support for our veterans.

Additional Information:

The Utah State Capitol is located at 350 State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84114. Parking is available in the Capitol Hill Garage (entrance on 300 North between State and 100 East). The garage is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The cost is $2.00 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of $10.00.
